Most antique Windsor chairs were actually painted (black when used indoors and green when used outdoors) instead of stained as they are today. Given the difficulty and cost of finding these antique chairs, we developed this finish to replicate the aged look. This is an “antique” chair you won’t be afraid to sit in.
