heating systems, cabinetmakers built beds to stand high above the
cold floor to conserve warmth. This made bed steps a handy accessory.
We follow the lead of early cabinetmakers for a different reason,
because high beds make for handy, underneath storage. Handbuilt in Oak or Cherry.
