Strength and stability define Tom Seely beds. Unlike most manufacturers, we still mortise and tenon our side rails and then bolt them into their headboards and footboards. In this technique, the boards are joined with a handcrafted projection, called a tenon, that is inserted into a carved socket, called a mortise. If the bed frame ever loosens, simply re-tighten the bolts.
